New app update released this morning by Microsoft

The Windows as a Service strategy is working like a charm for Microsoft, which rolls out updates really often for Windows 10 users, but there's still one big problem with all of these: there is no change log, so even though Microsoft ships new versions of its software, it's basically impossible to tell what's new.

Today, for instance, the software giant has pushed a new version of the Mail app for Windows 10 adopters, but just as it has been doing in the last few weeks, it hasn't included a change log. So yes, it's actually a very good thing that Microsoft has rolled out updates for its apps at such a fast pace, but on the other hand, it's really bad that we don't actually know what's new in them.

Today's Mail app update is waiting in the store, and at first glance, it brings nothing new in terms of UI of features, which is most likely the most obvious sign that we're dealing with another release specifically focused on fixing bugs and performance issues that were discovered in the previous versions.

The buggy Mail app

The Mail client is a completely new app in Windows 10, and while it certainly shows signs of progress from the Windows 8.1 version, there's plenty of room for improvement in the coming weeks and months.

The app, for instance, still has issues reading HTML code, and in some cases, your messages might be full of codes that make them impossible to read. Sometimes, the app has a delay when showing notifications and users might miss a new email, while for others, it simply crashes all of a sudden and automatically restarts at random times.

All these errors must be fixed by Microsoft as soon as possible, but at the same time, the company should also provide information on the bugs it fixes. Hopefully, this is going to change soon, as more updates are definitely in the pipeline.
