As we told you a few minutes ago, Microsoft released new cumulative updates for Windows 10 systems as part of its monthly Patch Tuesday cycle, and the Creators Update is one of the versions getting their own pack of improvements.

As it’s the case of the other cumulative updates that shipped today, KB4034674 is mainly focused on security fixes, though it also comes with a series of fixes for bugs reported since the previous update.

This month, however, the release notes are substantially reduced, and you can check them in full in the box after the jump.

First and foremost, Microsoft says that it fixes an issue impacting the AppLocker rules wizard, which crashes when selecting accounts. This is a bug that many users reported after the last month’s cumulative updates, but Microsoft hasn’t said whether it was caused by the previous update or not.

Then, there’s a fix for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and for Mobile Device Manager Enterprise, with the later experiencing stop errors due to an access violation.

One known bug

And last but not least, there are the security improvements we’ve told you about, which include patches for a long series of Windows 10 apps and modules, like Edge browser, the Windows Search Component, the Windows Subsystem for Linux, kernel-mode drivers, Windows Server, and Windows PDF Library.

Again, you can check the box after the jump to have a look at the full change log.

There’s also one known issue with Windows 10 cumulative update KB4034674 and you should really check it out if English is not the only language on your system. Microsoft says that installing this update may change Czech and Arabic languages to English for Edge browser and other applications, and for the time being, no workaround is available.

The company says that it has already started work on a fix for this bug and more information would be provided in the coming days when it is available.
