Microsoft publishes the official ISOs for build 15063

As we told you yesterday, Microsoft promised to release the official Windows 10 Creators Update build 15063 ISOs this week, and now it looks like the links are already live even though an announcement in this regard is not yet available.

What’s important to know, however, is that these ISOs are released as part of the Windows Insider program, though they are expected to be very similar to the retail version that should go live early next month.

Windows 10 build 15063 is said to be the RTM version of the Creators Update, and is currently available for insiders in both the Fast and the Slow rings, with retail users likely to get the same build, obviously with more fixes and improvements, in April when the launch of the new OS version goes live.

Creators Update launching on April 11

In case you’re wondering why these ISO images are so important for Windows 10 users, it’s because they make it super-easy to start from scratch directly from this build, and since it’s RTM, there’s no doubt that many people are tempted to do it to have a fully stable operating system.

At the same time, they also come in handy for IT admins and developers who want to install the OS in a virtual machine or to run tests before planning the deployment across larger networks, as they make it possible to try out all the improvements in a secure environment.

The two ISOs published today are for x64 and x86 computers, so make sure that you download the version that works on your PC.

As for the public launch of the Creators Update, it’s projected to take place on April 11, with an announcement from Microsoft expected anytime soon. Final ISOs for retail users will be released on launch day, together with updated versions of the Media Creation Tool and the Windows 10 Update Assistant.
