The Anniversary Update rollout is projected to begin next week, on August 2, so we’re only a few days away from the moment when everyone will get it. And yet, .5 is now 99 percent the version that’ll be released to retail users, so if nothing changes in the meantime, what you see in this build is exactly what everyone will be receiving next week.
Keep in mind that the Anniversary Update rollout will take place in stages, so not everyone will get it at the same time, as Microsoft has more than 350 million devices to upgrade, and servers are very likely to be used at their maximum capacity once the “red” button is pressed.
