Microsoft releases new ISOs allowing for a clean install

Microsoft has just released new ISOs for participants in the Windows Insider program who want to clean install the latest build 14332.

The company hasn’t publicly announced the new ISOs, which is kind of surprising given the fact that many consider them quite helpful, especially when coming across major bugs and issues and go for a clean install. The ISOs are, however, available on the official Microsoft site and can be downloaded by anyone.

These files allow you to do a clean install of build 14332, which is currently available exclusively to members enrolled in the fast ring of the preview program. This is another surprising thing as previously, Microsoft released new ISOs only when a build was ready to be pushed to the slow ring.

Making a specific build available to users who are running slow ring previews means that the Windows development team fixed the majority of critical bugs and the build reached a higher stability and reliability level. This time though, the company has changed the strategy and made the ISOs public even though build 14332 is only part of the fast ring.

New build coming next week

Microsoft hasn’t released a new Windows 10 build this week for PCs and mobile due to what Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, called a “tricky crash,” so all hopes are now that the launch would take place the next week.

This is also what Microsoft itself is aiming for, so PC and mobile insiders should receive new builds in just a few days.

Development of Windows 10 has already reached the Anniversary Update stage, so these builds let users preview the upcoming Redstone update and the features that will be part of it. This is the case of build 14322, so these new ISO files clearly come in handy to those who are new to the program or maybe want to join it right away by going straight to the latest version.
