Microsoft rolled out another preview build of Windows 10

Exciting times for Windows Insiders, as Microsoft keeps rolling new Windows 10 builds at a much faster pace, so only 24 hours after the company provided us with build 10158, Gabriel Aul has officially announced a new version that’s specifically developed to fix even more issues.

Windows 10 build 10159 is now available for download, and although it comes only one day after the previous version, Microsoft says that you’re highly recommended to install it because it contains no less than 300 fixes.

“We’d been using 10158 for almost a week and knew it was going to be a strong build, and the data backed that up so we released it yesterday. Hot on its heels though was build 10159, which in addition to more fixes (over 300 of them!), took in one very interesting change. We didn’t want to wait with 10158 so we went ahead and released that build while we were still evaluating 10159. As it turns out though, 10159 is also a great build and passes our criteria for the Windows Insider Fast ring,” Aul explains.

What’s new in build 10159?

As we already told you yesterday, Windows 10 build 10158 was one of the most stable and reliable preview builds to date, so many might be wondering what exactly is new in 10159.

Basically, the only big visible change is the addition of a new wallpaper, which is the official Windows 10 desktop background that Microsoft announced a few days ago.

Other than that, it’s all about fixing bugs and issues, as Microsoft continues bug hunting at the very last minute ahead of the big launch on July 29.

Keep in mind that only users enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows Insider program have access to build 10159, and no new ISOs are available until it reaches the slow channel.

Update: you can now download unofficial Windows 10 build 10159 ISOs.
