Microsoft is yet to provide insiders with a new preview build of Windows 10, but fortunately, more information comes via unofficial channels that let us have an early look at what’s to come in the next release.

The first screenshots showing Windows 10 build 10154 have now reached the web thanks to Russian leaker WZor, who also revealed that this particular version was released to partners earlier today.

According to the official release notes, which also got leaked today, there’s no software update in this version, and as you can see in these screenshots, Microsoft most likely focused on bug fixing and refining the overall performance of the operating system.

New Music app and “Get Office”

Windows 10 build 10154 comes with the new Music app that we’ve already seen and which is also available in Windows 10 Mobile build 10149, so users will most likely be allowed to listen to their music on all devices running the new operating system.

Music is likely to be offered as a universal app and it will allow you to purchase music from the store and manage it from just one place. It’s the rebranded version of Xbox Music and this new name makes more sense, especially because it has little in common with Xbox (the same rebranding process has been used for the Movies app, too).

A shortcut that’s included in the Start menu and the Start screen allows users to quickly “Get Office,” so it has pretty much the same purpose as “Get Skype.” Microsoft is thus providing its users with quicker access to some of its apps, without pre-installing them in Windows 10.

Build 10154 is not yet available for users, but there’s no doubt that a leak is imminent, so expect the ISOs that Microsoft sent to partners to become available via file-sharing websites anytime soon. We’ll keep you posted as soon as it leaks.
