14 DAY TRIAL // Come May 10, Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby” will arrive in theaters all over the world. Buzz around the film is also huge because of its score, which was produced by rapper Jay-Z, whom Baz personally picked for the job.
We’ve already seen what Andre 3000 and Beyonce did to Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” and now it’s time for a fresh new song from the OST.
Check out the video below for will.i.am’s performance on American Idol last night, where he premiered his new song “Bang Bang.”
It will be included both on the “Gatsby” OST and on his upcoming album and, while I’d describe it as the kind of song that grows on you, the performance was definitely spectacular, a truly outstanding production.
