More importantly, how long do we have to wait?

WikiLeaks seems to be preparing something big and the only hint we get is "vault7."

Indeed, that's not much to go on with, but WikiLeaks seems to put a lot of focus on this particular hashtag. Starting on February 4, WikiLeaks began sending out tweets with a series of cryptic messages teasing the world about this "Vault 7."

First, they started by asking "What is #Vault7," alongside an image of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault constructed out in the icy terrains of Norway.

Then, on February 5, WikiLeaks posted an image of a bunker where the Nazi's kept loads of gold bags, with the question "where is #valut7?"

The series of tweets continued with questions about "when is #vault7?" posted alongside an image of a test run at the Langley Air Force Base  and "who is #vault7?" complete with a picture of Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden and Julian Assange on the cover of a fictive magazine called "Infamous Spies."

The list of questions continued with "Why is #Vault7?" and, finally, "How did #Vault7 make its way to WikiLeaks?". The last two were accompanied by images of the Whiteman Air Force Base and of a woman wearing a beret putting something in a mailbox.

How long do we have to wait?

That last message was sent on February 9, and ever since then, there has been a heavy silence on the matter. Sure, there have been messages sent by the WikiLeaks official Twitter account, but nothing related to the topic at hand.

Twitter users have gone a bit in detective mode ever since then, wondering what WikiLeaks was planning to release now, hoping it would happen sooner rather than later. With a week gone by, there's lots of excitement about the issue.

Some believe this has something to do with Hillary Clinton since just before they started tweeting about Vault 7, they released the sixth part of the FBI's investigation on Clinton with a URL that actually included the word "vault."

Others, however, have gone into conspiracy mode and believe it's going to be about Building 7 in the 9/11 attacks.

Whatever it is, we hope WikiLeaks comes clean soon and releases whatever it is they're going to release it soon. Here's to hoping that they're just waiting another seven days to pass before making the big announcement. Let's just hope they're not messing with us.
