14 DAY TRIAL // The bezel-less monster from Asia, the Xiaomi Mi Mix, is unlikely to be sold outside China through official channels. There might be some third-party retailers that will stock the phone and will be willing to ship it internationally, but the phone will cost much more compared to its Chinese retail price.
Nevertheless, those who absolutely must own the Xiaomi Mi Mix, even if they don't reside in China, should consider the white version of the phone.
Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix would be available for purchase in the Mainland in black color, but a white variant has just leaked courtesy to Weibo.
According to GizmoChina, the white version of the Xiaomi Mi Mix might be announced in the next couple of weeks, but just like the black model, it will only be available in China.
Also, since Xiaomi announced the Mi Mix as a concept phone, it will only sell in limited quantities, so even if there's high demand for the bezel-less device, it's unlikely that the Chinese company will be able to ramp up production.
The white color adds some variations to the already stunning Xiaomi Mi Mix concept phone. Those who haven't been impressed by the black variant, though we doubt there are too many people in this position, will most likely be mesmerized by the new white version that surfaced online.
No spec differences between white and black versions
It's also worth noting that the source that leaked these images claims the white version is no different from the black model in terms of specs. It features the same 83.6% screen-to-body ratio and similar hardware configuration.
Expect a powerful 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor inside, along with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The large 6.4-inch bezel-less display supports a rather unusual 1080 x 2040 pixel resolution.
The back side features a 16-megapixel photo snapper with PDAF, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording, as well as fingerprint sensor. There's also a 5-megapixel camera in the front.
Xiaomi Mi Mix is powered by a non-removable 4,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
