Windows 10 is scheduled to launch in just a couple of weeks, and Microsoft’s partners are now hard at work to make sure that their customers will be able to make the most of the new OS quite easily, especially because they expect it to increase sales of new PCs and tablets.

As we’ve told you earlier today, Lenovo launched its very own Windows 10 guide to assist customers as they explore the new operating system, and now Dell does the same thing by launching a dedicated app in the store that provides more info on this new product.

The new so-called “Welcome to Windows 10” app is available in the new store that’s offered in Windows 10 Insider Preview, so you won’t find it in the version running on Windows 8.1. The app is obviously available for free and could be pre-installed on Dell systems launching on July 29 and after that.

Only basic info

The app only provides users with essential information regarding Windows 10, and in most of the cases, they are redirected to the company’s website to find out more on specific features, but it’s still a good way to introduce new users to the operating system and make sure that they are aware of the key improvements that Microsoft has introduced.

Microsoft has already promised a plethora of devices launching on July 29 and after, so expect many more such apps and guides to reach the web in the coming weeks because this time nobody can afford a step in the wrong direction.

Windows 10 is considered a game changer, and Microsoft and its partners need this operating system to be successful, especially because its launch date makes it possible to benefit from the growing sales expected during the back-to-school shopping season
