About wattOS

wattOS is a lightweight, energy saving Linux distro designed to not only bring your old computer back to life, but also eat up as little power as possible.

The idea is that, by recycling a computer instead of throwing it away and buying a new one, you end up saving quite a bit of resources. Of course, older PCs tend to use up more power than newer ones, but the difference is offset by the prolonged life span. wattOS is based on Ubuntu and uses the LXDE desktop environment.
