Introducing the Fred Astaire of birds, no joke

Yet another video has gone viral, and believe it or not, its protagonist is a seagull. A totally adorable dancing seagull, to be more precise.

Apparently, the video was shot on a beach in New Quay, Wales, by a man who, while hanging around the seaside town, came across a terribly hungry seagull ready and willing to dance for food.

“Casually taught a sea gull to tap dance during my lunch hour in New Quay, Wales,” YouTube user MrTomostan in the video's description. Unfortunately, there are no details on how exactly he did it.

The footage shows the bird tap-dancing its webbed feet off in exchange for a few chips. Meanwhile, the man keeps encouraging it not to give up and go on showing off its signature moves.

Now, MrTomostan might be convinced that the seagull was dancing at his command, but it might be that the bird was simply trying to shake off the extra calories about to come its way in advance.

After all, dancing might just be the best way to stay in shape and have fun while you’re at it.

“Oh my gawd... i just imagine this bird randomly coming up to people patapata'n away Thinking it will get food for it always... and the look on those people O_O,” a viewer commented on the video.

“Flashdance - maniac its a good song for this video.. lol.. hahaha..." another added.
