Believe it or not, he actually did it on purpose

This might come as a bit of a surprise, but it just so happens that kicking yourself in the head repeatedly is a legitimate way to land your name in the Guinness Book of World Records. Just as long as you have the flexibility and the stamina to get it right.

Joel Leindecker of Los Angeles, California, did it in 2013, when he managed to kick his head an impressive and probably quite painful 127 times over the course of just one minute.

Then Puskar Nepal of Kathmandu came along and proved to the world that, as astounding as Joel Leindecker's performance might have been, there was plenty of room left for improvement.

In a nutshell, this guy managed to kick himself in the head a whopping 134 times in just one minute flat. To achieve this, Puskar Nepal found a way to alternate legs without losing balance when switching from one to the other.

His kicking marathon is included in the Guinness World Record video below, which also explains how this most bizarre challenge got started in the first place.

When asked why he thought it a good idea to kick himself dozens of times just to prove that he could do it better than anybody else, Puskar Nepal explained that what he really wanted was to inspire others to forever push their boundaries.

“I want to contribute something for the poor people of rural areas. I want the people from different countries to know about me. Breaking a world record has always been a dream for me,” he said.
