There's a new viral video making the rounds these days, and it might just be one of the most shocking ever to hit the public eye.

The footage, available below, documents adrenaline junkie Josh Miramant's jump off a cliff in Thailand with his parachute attached to his skin via hooks embedded into his flesh.

Josh Miramant performed this little stunt in early July. Contrary to expectations, the hooks and his flesh did a good job securing him to the parachute, and so the jump went quite smoothly.

The cliff 28-year-old Josh Miramant jumped off stood about 380 feet (roughly 115 meters) tall, and so watching him take the leap is nothing short of terrifying.

However, the daredevil says it was all worth it as the fall gave him the best adrenaline rush he has ever experienced. Safe to assume the hooks piercing his skin added to the excitement.

“It's amazing how powerful adrenaline is - as the canopy made a loud snap above me, it triggered one of the strongest adrenaline kicks I've ever had.”

“At that point, I just had to steer the canopy towards the ground and it was over. The delight, relief and satisfaction of success was far more prevalent than pain,” he said in an interview.

Fair warning: the video contains graphic images that some might find disturbing, so viewer discretion is recommended.
