This is one trick movie makers might want to use

If there's one thing that's guaranteed to chase away boredom and make an otherwise perfectly ordinary day a whole lot more entertaining, that's blowing up things.

Not having any explosives to play with, a pair of brothers in Sweden turned to a regular water bottle to virtually obliterate a microwave oven they no longer had any use for.

“We decided to blow a microwave with a water bottle since we were bored,” the brothers confess.

First, the pair of adventurous spirits used a cork, glue and a cap to seal the glass bottle. They then put it in the microwave and taped the appliance's door shut to prevent an early release of energy.

Once done prepping the bottle and the oven, they turned the appliance on and let it do its job and heat the water. Some 16 minutes later, the microwave exploded with a seriously impressive bang.

If we're going to be honest here, we have to admit this one very simple experiment is insanely cool and, therefore, tempting to try and replicate at home, just for the fun of it.

Be warned though: you risk getting injured, so better not. “We do not recommend that you try this at home,” the brothers themselves caution.
