Start re-learning how to write with this scribble catalog

In case there are still people surfing the Internet these days that still feel like writing with a pen and paper, like humans once did twenty years ago, then you'd be glad to hear about the new Bamboo Spark from Wacom.

Being basically a catalog for your scribbles in a real-ink pen on A5 paper (5.83 x 8.27 inches), the Bamboo Spark uses digital pen technology and turns your writings in a "smart folio" on your tablet or smartphone.

All you have to do is basically pair the catalog with your tablet and smartphone and write whatever you want on the paper. Afterwards, the Spark transfers your scribbles to your smartphone each page separately in a .PDF or .WILL file. The hassle to write something is pretty minimal. You fire up the Spark, let it sync with your smartphone, and then push a single button to write a page and another after you finished it.

Unfortunately, it only has 100 pages of notes as you write them and then will get synced to the app later when you have the time to pair the catalog with your phone, be it an Android or iOS.

The technology behind this involves the Spark's Electro-Magnetic Resonance board and Bluetooth beam your pen strokes to your mobile device at the push of a button when you've finished writing. Battery life-wise, the Spark can work for about 8 hours before you would need to recharge it via USB.

Availability and Pricing Bamboo Spark comes in three models, all priced at $159.95 (USD), €159.90 (EUR)
