The MTV Video Music Awards 2015 took place last night, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with Miley Cyrus acting as the official host. The night was packed with surprises and amazing performances, but not too many unexpected winners.

Taylor Swift cleaned up the awards in all the major categories, proving once more that, when it comes to getting public recognition for her work, she will never be able to complain of lacking supporters.

She took home the award for Best Collaboration for “Bad Blood,” but also for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for “Blank Space.” At the end of the night, she also left with the biggest distinction possible in the gala, the Video of the Year award, which she also won for “Bad Blood.”

There was no Kanye West to interrupt her this time, as it happened back in 2009, in what is known today as the infamous “Imma let you finish” moment.

Taylor also opened the show with Nicki Minaj, with whom she’d gotten in a Twitter feud earlier this year, after the VMAs nominations were announced. They kissed and made up, so all is right in the world again.
