Only a few months are still left until Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone 8, iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, while a new video shows a dummy unit of one of the most anticipated iPhones in the past few years.

The video is just 10 seconds long and was uploaded by Benjamin Geskin. The video reveals front and back panels of the new iPhone 8, showing the OLED display on the front and the vertical dual-camera setup on the back.

The dummy unit doesn’t appear to be functional, but it does resemble the iPhone 8 unit that leaked in photos a few days ago. The video also appears to portray the final design of the iPhone 8, featuring a 2.5D curved glass display that covers the front almost completely and doesn’t leave space for a physical home button.

A thicker chassis is also visible in the video, possibly made out of metal. The overall thickness of the iPhone 8 is said to be identical to the iPhone 7, which is just 7.1mm thick.

The iPhone 8 will come with a stainless steel border

In addition, the dummy unit is said to have been based on schematics supposedly leaked from Apple manufacturers. The uploader has also revealed that the stainless steel border on the new iPhone will be space black, in order to match the front and back glass. The border won’t stand out in the final retail product like it does on the dummy unit.

The iPhone 8 is said to be the first iPhone with an OLED display and a glass front and back, somewhat similar to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s. Moreover, the smartphone is rumored to come with a 3D sensing front camera and support for wireless charging, said to arrive on the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus as well. The dummy unit doesn’t reveal a Touch ID on the back, further cementing rumors claiming that the fingerprint sensor could be built under the display.
