It looks like a new set of updated Live ISO images for the Fedora 24 GNU/Linux operating system were published by Ben Williams, founder of the Fedora Unity Project and Fedora Ambassador.

Dubbed F24-20161023, the updated Live ISOs were released a few days ago and include up-to-date components from the official Fedora 24 Linux software repositories, with which was fully syncronized as of October 23, 2016. Of course, this means that they also include the latest Linux kernel update fully patched against the "Dirty COW" bug.

The new F24-20161023 ISOs are, as usual, available for all the important Fedora 24 Spins, including Fedora 24 Workstation (with the GNOME desktop environment), Fedora 24 KDE, Fedora 24 Xfce, Fedora 24 Cinnamon, Fedora 24 MATE, and Fedora 24 LXDE, but also a DVD image that contains only source packages.

"It is with great pleasure to announce that the community run respin team has yet another updated ISO round," said Ben Williams. "This round carries the 4.7.9-200 kernel along with over 755 MB of updates since the Gold release back in June. This kernel has the patch for the Dirty Cow vulnerability."
