Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection isn't even out yet and a special update 1.01 has already been confirmed by Sony and Naughty Dog and can be downloaded via the PlayStation Network. The changelog, visible in the image to the right, confirms a suite of improvements, fixes, and other enhancements.

While quite a lot of PlayStation 4 owners are eager to play Uncharted 4: A Thief's End when it launches in March of next year, many are also looking forward to enjoying, or re-experiencing the three main titles in the series, thanks to the upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Patch 1.01 brings a suite of improvements to the upcoming game

The actual game is scheduled to debut later this week, on October 9, but those with early copies have already been met with two different patches. Some details were revealed about update 1.00, and now, via Chinner, a changelog for patch 1.01 is available.

This day-one patch is filled with improvements to the game's overall stability, as well as optimizations for its performance. It also remedies bugs relating to pre-order bonuses, the movies, and some bugs when the audio outputs through 5.1 and 7.1 configurations.

A few other issues regarding player stats, unlockable items, visuals, the menus, or gameplay are also resolved by the new patch.

The aiming controls have been tweaked to make sure they respond as well as possible to player input, while the Photo Mode is allowed to capture images from all areas of the game.

Last but not least, with the new update 1.01 for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, owners can start a New Game without collecting treasures from previous games.

You can check out the full changelog in the screenshot above. The actual update clocks in at 1.029GB and is already available for download via the PlayStation Network online service for those who have early copies of the game. The actual game is still scheduled to debut on October 9, worldwide, exclusively for the PS4.
