14 DAY TRIAL // The development cycle of the upcoming ubuntuBSD 15.10 operating system continues, and today we report on the release and immediate availability for download of the fourth Beta build.
ubuntuBSD 15.10 Beta 4 is out, as the project's developers have announced earlier on Twitter, and among various bug fixes and small under-the-hood improvements, they have managed to add the Xfe open-source software as the default file manager.
You can see the Xfe file manager running on top of the current development version of ubuntuBSD 15.10 in the screenshot attached on the right, but if you have the Beta 3 or a previous Beta release installed, there's no need to download today's ISO image.
If you just want to have the Xfe file manager installed, as well as the latest security patches released via the official repositories of the project, all you have to do is run the "sudo apt-get install xfe" command (without quotes) in the terminal app.
