14 DAY TRIAL // Today, October 13, 2016, was an important day for Ubuntu users, as Canonical announced the release of Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak), along with most of its officially recognized derivatives.

Among the in-house built packages designed for Chinese-speaking users, Ubuntu Kylin 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) includes the Sogou Pinyin 2.0.0.0082 release of the popular Chinese Pinyin input method editor, which is available from the repositories and can be easily installed via Ubuntu Kylin Software Center, ubuntukylin-theme 1.6.2 with support for the GTK+ 3.20 technologies, Flatpak-style icon names, new LibreOffice icons, improved display effect for device icons, and other visual changes.
Nautilus (Files) 3.20 is the default file manager, ubuntukylin-default-settings were updated to version 1.3.15, and there's a new package called ubuntu-kylin-wizard, which promises to provide a welcome and guided interface to new Ubuntu Kylin users.
