It only took two release candidates for uTorrent 3.2 to reach a stable version. The list of modifications for transitioning to this development stage from the last RC consists in a single entry, which notes that the problem with peer ID bug causing disconnects has been eliminated.

However, in order to get here, uTorrent has gone through a wider number of repairs that focused on getting rid of crash bugs in “add torrent” dialog as well as many other stability issues. Furthermore, the new revision (3.2.2 build 28500) is compatible with Windows 8.

Users may notice that in this version, the “Add Torrent” dialog shows magnet link data and the layout has been changed in order to increase the number of files displayed.

But chief among the modifications is the display of in-client offers from BitTorrent and software partners. Simply put, it becomes ad-supported; but there’s a way to disable it.
