Fixes plenty of issues, bugs are still reported

Unlike Opera, BitTorrent need a bit more than two release candidates to release a stable version for their torrent client, µTorrent. They reached the 7th RC version, which features only fixes.

The development team mended a bug that caused VLC to crash upon the second use, erroneous hash failures (multihash in particular), as well as a potential shutdown hang when deleting torrents.

The list of repairs does not resume to these. It lists fixes for problems with the embedded free player, and, very important, RC 7 makes sure that there is enough free space before transferring media to a mobile device (µTorrent Plus feature).

While progress is made with each release, users can’t help think that the first release for version 3.1 was back in September. Also, reaching RC7 is pretty unusual, regardless of the type of application we talk about.
