Fixes AV-column related issues, squashes crash bug

BitTorrent has made available the release notes for uTorrent 3.1.1 beta, build 26666. Just like most betas, it is filled with fixes and nothing else. However, these contribute to the overall improvement of the application.

Of all modifications, repairing disk caching and hashing problems is among the most notable.

Another fix addresses a bug that caused single-file torrents with an executable file to display the wrong icon in minified mode.

Some changes refer to issues related to resetting columns. This action would cause the AV column not to show up or create problems in the main torrent listview.

On the same note, the AV column would always appear after re-sizing or restarting uTorrent, even if disabled.

A very important fix available in this build is squashing a crash-causing bug that would manifest itself upon closing “Add Torrent” dialog.
