14 DAY TRIAL // Tapbots released the newest version of Tweetbot, their iOS Twitter client, and they've added a huge array of new features and a refreshed user interface to match the $4.99 discounted price tag that celebrates the launch.
Tweetbot 4 is now a universal app which means that it can run on all sized iOS devices, from iPhone and iPod touch to the large screened iPad.
The new Tweetbot release also adds support for iOS 9's split-screen multitasking feature and introduces a redesigned interface for the iPad, meant to revive the iPad version that hasn't been updated since 2014.
According to the Tweetbot 4 release notes on the app's iOS App Store page, this version also comes with landscape support for all compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices, as well as whole new Statistics and Activity views.

The Activity view is designed to make it easier to monitor who followed or mentioned and those that favorited or retweeted your tweets. On the other hand, the Statistics view enables you to get a quick overview of all the information available in the Activity feed, displayed in a simple and easy to follow graph form.
Tweetbot 4 also improves user profiles and status details, in an effort to present the information available on Twitter profiles in a much more modern and straightforward way.
In the new release, Tapbots has also included support for quick replying from notifications and for smart gestures that will help you to get quick access to a tweet's details, as well as reply, retweet and favorite the tweets that you like the most.
The last noteworthy feature added in Tweetbot 4 for iOS are the more granular mute settings that aid you in adding custom length mutes for hashtags, keywords or clients right from the mute section.
You can download Tweetbot 4 from the iOS App Store, and you can install it on any iPhone, iPad or iPod touch as long as it's running at least iOS 9.0 or later.
