The development team at The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA are ready to offer another trailer for the coming Total War: Warhammer, which is probably designed as the culmination of all the information that has been offered so far on the Dwarf faction.

The footage, which is taken from an alpha version of the game, shows the World’s Edge Mountains, the capital of Karaz-A-Karak and its throne room, and then focuses on High King Thorgrim Grudgebearer and his plans for revenge.

The Creative Assembly states, "Poring endlessly over the Dammaz Kron, the Great Book of Grudges, he dreams of vengeance for the countless betrayals and treacheries against his people. And sometimes, just sometimes, an opportunity to settle an old score presents itself…"

Towards the end of the video fans of Total War: Warhammer can see a glimpse of the Ambush at the Thundering Falls battle, in which the Dwarves take on the Orc horde with some surprising tactics.

The entire battle can be played by gamers who attend the EGX event in late September.

Probably towards the end of the month The Creative Assembly will also offer an official walkthrough of the engagements.

Total War: Warhammer tweaks the core formula of the series

Underground battles are a great way to do justice to the fantasy universe and serve as yet another hint that the Skaven, which many gamers have been asking for to be included, will be part of the coming strategy title.

The Dwarves will have their own set of map layer mechanics, with gamers able to try and manage their society, which is now centered on revenge, in order to make them into a formidable fighting force.

The Creative Assembly says that it wants to make Total War: Warhammer as accurate in relation to the tabletop title on which it is based, but it will also take liberties in order to use the advantages of the video game space.

Gamers will be able to take control of the human Empire, the Dwarves, the Orcs and the Vampire Counts, each of them with their unique powerful heroes and a set of units that showcases their most capable units.

Total War: Warhammer will be out on the PC at some point next year.
