A couple of new entries can also be found in the top

Now that the Steam Summer Sale has ended, we can take a look at the most sold games on Linux and see who's fairing the best when they're now benefiting from massive discounts, although to be fair there are always discounts.

The list of the most sold games on Steam for Linux is a very good tool to find out what the community is preferring and what they are playing right now. If something ends up on this rather exclusive list, then you know you'll probably have a great time with it. Some of the games have been around for some time now, so we already know that they are good, but there are also a few new entries that should prove more than interesting.

We can also see that a couple of user favorites have returned, and there is also a rather interesting situation going on, but it's temporary and generated by a massive discount for one of the games.

What are the Steam for Linux users playing?

There are quite a few games in the top selling list that have the full price, but we already know that they are very good and with immense replay value. These titles include Pillars of Eternity, Left 4 Dead 2, Sid Meier's Civilization V: Complete Edition, Cities: Skylines, Garry's Mod, and Rust.

The two surprises in the list are Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride Complete Pack, which occupy two places on the list. This is a great game that has garnered a lot of praise from the community. Right now it has a major 80% discount, and that is also probably the reason we see it in this top.

A new entry in the list is also due to a discount. Massive Chalice is a strategy game from the famous Double Fine Productions studio and the 50% discount for it should expire in a little over a day.

The first place is occupied, as usual, by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It needs no introduction, and we suspect that it will remain in that position for a long time.
