14 DAY TRIAL // Word has it that Tom Cruise has finally found the woman to make a fourth trip down the aisle worth it: her name is Emily Thomas, she’s from the UK, is 22 years old and works as his personal assistant on set. They became engaged just recently and are planning a December wedding.
Tom has been married 3 times already: to Mimi Rogers between 1987 and 1990, to Nicole Kidman between 1990 and 2001, and to Katie Holmes between 2006 and 2012. As far as physical appearances go, these women would indicate that Tom doesn’t have a “type.”
Enter Emily.
Supposed fiancée is a lookalike of his ex
Before proceeding, we should note that we’re working under the assumption that Emily and Tom really did get engaged, or at the very least that they’ve been dating since late last year, after meeting and clicking on the set of the upcoming “Mission: Impossible” movie “Rogue Nation.”
Star is positive about the engagement, with sources saying that it happened on a recent trip to Morocco, where Tom went scouting for locations for a new ‘MI” film. Apparently, the two are “smitten” and, as such, are eager to tie the knot.
They may have not confirmed their relationship to the world yet, but the media is already rushing to analyze Emily - and the conclusion seems to be that she could pass for a Katie Holmes lookalike any given day, with the proper styling and makeup.
The Daily Mail is even running side-by-side photo comparisons to hint that Tom may have been deliberately looking for a woman who reminded him of the wife that managed to blindside him with the divorce filing and thus escape the evil clutches of the Church of Scientology.
“With dark brown hair and hazel eyes, she bears a striking resemblance to Cruise’s most recent ex-wife, actress Katie Holmes,” the British tab says.

Get your tinfoil hat
Because countless media outlets and industry people have taken the time and went through the trouble to look deeper into Scientology, we know now a great deal more than ever before of this strange cult and its number one celebrity spokesperson, Tom Cruise.
For instance, we know that all intended lovers and future partners / wives are screened by Scientology higher-ups, including leader (and Cruise’s old friend) David Miscavige. We know that Scientology doesn’t tolerate dissent and that whoever is approved for Cruise must be turned into a Scientologist immediately and indoctrinated accordingly.
If the engagement is real, it would mean that Emily has already been “welcomed” into Scientology and that the process took place in the months after their relationship became serious.
However, there’s another, more likely theory: Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation” opens wide in theaters on July 31. Interest in it has been solid, but the hype hasn’t been as high as the studio might have wanted.
What better way is there to boost attention in the film than by planting a new romance story in the tabloids?
