If you’re looking for a new Windows 10 tablet and you don’t want to spend a fortune on one of Microsoft’s Surface models, search no more because here is one of the most affordable devices currently out there.

Currently on sale at Walmart, the so-called Nextbook Flex can be yours for just $69.99 (that’s a little over €60) and comes with the full version of Windows 10, just like any other fully-featured tablet or laptop.

Obviously, what you pay is what you get, so don’t expect breathtaking specs.

Technical specs

First of all, the tablet comes with an 8.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, but also features a detachable foldable POGO keyboard with a USB 2.0 port.

As far as performance goes, the device features an Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor running at 1.83 GHz and also comes with 1GB of RAM. Since 1GB is the lowest you can get in order to run Windows 10, the tablet is very likely to feel slow at certain times, but if you optimize the OS for better performance, we’re pretty sure it can become quite helpful especially on the go.

In terms of storage, you get only 32 GB of space, but if you want more, there’s also the microSD card support that allows a maximum of extra 64 GB. Plus, the USB 2.0 port lets you connect an external drive or USB stick for additional storage.

Other features include a microUSB connector, one microHDMI port and Wi-Fi. There’s no info on the battery, but it should easily provide you a few hours of working, listening to music, or watching videos. The device is available in three colors, blue, black, and purple.

Clearly, this tablet brings excellent value for the money and if you’re looking for a cheap way to try out Windows 10, this is pretty much the best option.
