Windows 10 definitely comes with significant enhancements on the traditional PC to make working with a mouse and keyboard better and easier than in Windows 8, but there’s clearly still plenty of room for improvements and designers across the world use this opportunity to create their own Windows 10 concepts.

This is the case of least1234 who created a new Windows 10 concept that doesn’t change the look of the desktop too much, but it adds some features that might really come in handy to many users.

The first thing you’ll probably notice when looking at this concept's photo is the new title bar which now comes with transparency. Aero Transparency has been re-added to the window titlebars and this certainly looks really great.

Completely overhauled notification center

At the same time, the blue effect, which is currently available in the Windows 10 Start menu and the Action Center, is also available in the taskbar, which again gives this concept extra points for looks.

But the most important change this concept proposes is a major overhaul of the Action Center.

As you can see for yourself by zooming in on the photo, this concept imagines a version that includes gadgets, which were previously available in Windows 7 but removed for security reasons in Windows 8. Gadgets would be directly integrated into the Action Center, but when clicked, they can open a corresponding store app - for instance, the weather gadget can launch the Windows 10 Weather app.

Gadgets were extremely popular in Windows 7, so bringing them back in Windows 10 could be a really smart decision for Microsoft, but this is very unlikely to happen anytime soon.

And yet, the number of concepts that imagine these changes show that there’s still demand for gadgets on the desktop, so Microsoft should really have this in mind when working on new Windows 10 updates.
