The cake looks nothing like the Disney royalty

When they ordered a Princess Elsa cake for their daughter's birthday, a family expected to receive a dessert that, although not quite the spitting image of the Disney royalty, would at least not make their guests lie about being on a diet just so they wouldn't be offered a slice.

What they got instead was a positively terrifying cake fit to star in a horror movie. No, really, check out the photos below to see for yourself. The first shows the cake the family expected, the second - what they were delivered by the bakery that handled their daughter's birthday.

“The cake that was ordered and the cake that arrived,” reads the tag accompanying the photos on Reddit. This is yet to be confirmed, but word has it that the chief ingredient used when making this cake was the stuff of nightmares.

The family might not have been very happy with the cake, but Redditors could not help but poke fun at the horrifying desert. Somebody even pointed out that, as scary as it turned out to be, this cake was actually the work of somebody who slaved hours and hours to bake it.

“Every misshapen blob, every terrifying curve and flourish. There are hours and hours of terrible craftsmanship here,” said Reddit user Vicious Pudin.
