Also eye-poppingly hot sauces, because why not

Ice cream is best eaten on hot summer days when the scorching sun becomes too much to handle. The Ice Cream Store in Rehoboth, Delaware, however, serves a variety that sounds just perfect for people trying to make it through a winter in Siberia.

This ice cream won't cool you down. Quite the contrary, it will make you seriously hot and sweaty. Not to mention the fact that, in all likelihood, it will melt away your tongue and throat, and cause you unbelievable pain.

That's because, apart from the usual strawberries, milk and whatnot, the recipe includes chili peppers and some of the hottest sauces ever known to mankind.

The treat, dubbed the Ghost Pepper Ice Cream, is so hot that those brave enough to give it a try must first sign a waiver. “It should be noted that what is painful going in may also be painful during exit!” the waiver warns.

What's more, Oddity Central tells us that kids, teenagers and people over the age of 65 are required to ask for permission from a parent, legal guardian or a doctor when trying the ice cream.

Even so, this bizarre ice cream variety is not without fans. True, most people end up vomiting or coughing for minutes on end after they give it a try, but some actually enjoy it.

“It’s not that bad. I was expecting worse. I like the hot stuff and I like ice cream, so it was a good mix,” Russ Goffred, a tourist from New York, said in an interview.
