14 DAY TRIAL // There was once intelligent life on the Red Planet and these now lost cosmic neighbors of ours were oddly spiritual beings, conspiracy theorists claim.
Thus, they say ancient aliens on Mars used to worship Buddha. How did they get this idea? Well, by looking at photos of supposed religious artifacts they left behind, of course.
Apparently, there's a Buddha statue on Mars
Mars orbiters often beam back views of the Red Planet and conspiracy theorists have made it a habit to browse through these images for clues of past or maybe present alien life on Mars.
Just a few weeks ago, they found a bunch of stones that reminded them of Stonehenge and so they named the arrangement Marshenge. Now, they claim to have spotted a Buddha statue.
True, this alleged Buddha statue on Mars doesn't really look like other representations of the sage. Nonetheless, this doesn't make it any less of a sign of intelligent life on the Red Planet.
“This shows a face and head turned to its right, with breasts and a plump stomach, shoulders. Very remarkable detail in this photo,” said alien believed Scott Waring, as cited by Mirror.
“This photo alone should be enough to convince the UN that intelligent life once existed on Mars, but NASA doesn't want anyone to know the truth, because they will be asked to share the info and technology that they have found,” he added.
NASA: Nope, there are no aliens on Mars
Conspiracy theorists might take pleasure in searching for ancient monuments or statues on Mars, but US space agency NASA reassures such discoveries are pure mumbo-jumbo.
If there once was life on Mars, it sure didn't leave any artifacts for us to remember it by. Then, probes hard at work exploring the planet haven't yet found any signs of life on the orb in this day and age.
