14 DAY TRIAL // Coffee is, without a doubt, one of the greatest brews ever known to humankind. It's worshiped by thousands and there is no denying that, without it, our life would be, oh, so dull.
As great as coffee is all by itself, an entrepreneur can take credit for figuring out a way to make it even more appealing by opening what is probably the world's first “Breaking Bad”-themed coffee shop.
Deniz Kosan's locale opened not long ago in the city of Istanbul in Turkey, and it doesn't take a coffee aficionado to tell it looks nothing like any of the other such shops around the globe.
This locale looks like a chemistry lab
The coffee shop Deniz Kosan owns and operates - hopefully legally - in Istanbul, Turkey, is the spitting image of a chemistry lab. A chemistry lab that deals in cooking meth, to be more precise.
For starters, there's the periodic table covering one of the walls. Then there are the espresso cups that looks like beakers and the staff wearing hazmat suits as if they were brewing some deadly concoction and not good old coffee.
Not to mention the fact that the wacky shop goes by the name of the Coffee Super Lab or Walter's Coffee Roastery. So, yes, the place is a chemistry paradise especially designed for “Breaking Bad” fans.
Even the food is “Breaking Bad”-themed
Apart from coffee, Denis Kosan's Coffee Super Lab in Istanbul serves pancakes and all sorts of other sugary treats. Like the place itself, these too are “Breaking Bad”-themed.
The powdered sugar - or is it? - on the pancakes makes the most adorable Walter White portraits. As for the cupcakes, they're gorgeously decorated with colored sugar that bears a striking resemblance to the blue meth the chemistry professor would cook on the show.
Just in case there was any doubt about it, Deniz Kosan is himself a dedicated “Breaking Bad” fan. Judging by all the work he put into decorating his coffee shop to make it look like a chemistry lab, he could be the greatest “Breaking Bad” fan alive.
