CD Projekt Red has kept on supporting its The Witcher 3 medieval fantasy RPG in all sorts of ways after its launch in May. From bigger or smaller updates, to not one but 16 free DLC packs, owners across PC, PS4, and Xbox One were treated to plenty of impressive additions to their game.

The Polish team is currently focusing on the first big expansion for the game, in the form of Hearts of Stone, which arrives next week, on October 13.

The huge patch 1.10 for The Witcher 3 weighs in at around 15GB

Yesterday, the studio finally showcased the absolutely massive changelog for The Witcher 3 patch 1.10, which is set to pack over 600 different fixes and improvements for the game, altering its gameplay, visuals, performance, stability, or quests, while bringing support for Hearts of Stone.

Given the huge changelog, fans wondered just how much free space they should have for the update. CD Projekt Red's Marcin Momot confirms on Twitter that patch 1.10 is going to weigh in at around 15GB on PS4 and Xbox One. On the PC, things vary a bit, as here the update needs between 6 and 15GB of space, depending on whether you own the RPG via the GOG or Steam services. It's unclear just which PC edition needs a smaller amount of space for the update.

The studio also made it clear that patch 1.10 for The Witcher 3 is going to launch ahead of Hearts of Stone, probably next week on October 13.

Expect to hear a few more details in the next few days.
