CD Projekt Red has lived up to its word and has just revealed the changelog for the upcoming The Witcher 3 patch 1.08. The major update is going to launch "quite soon" and brings a myriad of bug fixes and improvements, including solutions to issues introduced by patch 1.07.

The Witcher 3 has been on the receiving end of plenty of different updates ever since its debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in May, not to mention plenty of free downloadable content thanks to developer CD Projekt Red, which wanted to reward fans for their loyalty.

Update 1.08 arrives soon and brings many enhancements

After the major patch 1.07 a few weeks ago, CD Projekt Red has just presented the full changelog for update 1.08, which, as mentioned above, is set to appear "quite soon," according to what the Polish studio said on its official forums.

Many different enhancements are promised for the game, starting with overall performance improvements, especially for issues that appeared in The Witcher 3 once owners installed patch 1.07 a few weeks ago.

Plenty of different gameplay tweaks are also included, such as fixes for problems that caused items to disappear from the stash, made Geralt unable to move when trying to run, or caused combat glitches.

What's more, the studio is aware that patch 1.07 raised the level requirements of certain gear, rendering it useless for those who didn't meet those requirements. Once the new update is installed, all players will find a Wolven Hour potion in their inventory, which, when activated, reduces the level requirements on all gear for one hour.

Players are invited to use the potion, then the gear and try to complete challenging quests that will offer more experience, thereby unlocking the actual items when the effects wear off.

All sorts of other problems relating to achievements, graphics, and, most importantly, quests are also remedied by the new patch, so check out the full changelog below.

Unfortunately, a concrete release date isn't available just yet, so it's unclear when it will appear on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
