The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to receive update 1.07 across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms later this week. According to the changelog posted by CD Projekt Red, several huge improvements are included, like a new movement system, player stashes, better inventory and sorting, and much more.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched on May 19, worldwide, across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. While the game earned a lot of acclaim as standard, developer CD Projekt Red has released a lot of different updates and patches, in order to resolve bugs, fix broken quests, and make other changes.

Patch 1.07 for The Witcher 3 is coming this week

After releasing plenty of improvements, CD Projekt Red finally confirms that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Patch 1.07 is going to arrive for PC, PS4, and Xbox One later this week.

A full changelog has also been confirmed on the official forums and fans should know that they're going to receive some big enhancements through the big update.

First and foremost, there's a new alternative movement system for Geralt which should, in theory, make him more responsive.

Another big annoyance with the current version of the game will be resolved by this upcoming patch, as the inventory is getting an overhaul. Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall weight, books are placed in a dedicated tab and are greyed out if players have read them, and there are multiple sorting options.

Stashes will be added to certain locations throughout the open world, so that players can store their prized possessions. What's more, you can pin alchemy formulas or crafting diagrams, so that the required components will be highlighted at the shop panel.

Those aggravated with the behavior of Geralt's horse, Roach, will also be glad to hear that the update brings improvements to its behavior.

No DLC this week due to the huge patch

Unfortunately, update 1.07's large scope means that CD Projekt Red isn't able to release this week's free DLC for the game. The studio pledges to return to weekly add-on release schedule next week.
