HP is expected to introduce its new Elite X3 model, also known as the Windows 10 Mobile superphone, later this year in September, and people close to the matter said that it could cost almost as much as an iPhone 6s Plus with 16 GB of storage.

But according to new information coming via the French website TheWinDose, HP is also planning to offer a special bundle with the Elite X3 that will include some other goodies for Windows 10 Mobile fans.

The only problem with this bundle is that it’ll be extremely expensive, with the aforementioned sources claiming that it could launch with a price of €1,200 ($1,350). On the other hand, it includes accessories that could really come in handy, and although their prices aren’t yet known, they might be even more expensive when purchased separately.

A Continuum dock and a Mobile Extender

The bundle itself will include not only the Elite X3, which will be sold for about €700, but also a Continuum dock and an HP Mobile Extender that makes it possible to use the aforementioned dock on the go. The Mobile Extender plays the role of an external screen for the device, so HP is planning to offer a very convenient way to turn the phone into a laptop whenever you need to.

For the moment, however, we’re yet to find out the official pricing for the Windows 10 Mobile superphone lineup, but more details should come in the next few weeks. HP is expected to introduce the device shortly after Microsoft takes the wraps off the Anniversary Update, which will happen on August 2.

The aforementioned rumored September launch does make sense, but the HP Elite X3 could be unveiled at different dates around the world, as the company is planning to bring it to the biggest markets, including those in Europe and the US.

The Elite X3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 CPU and will feature a 5.96-inch display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage space, 16-megapixel camera, USB Type-C, a fingerprint, and an iris scanner for Windows Hello.
