No word on how the adult content ended up on the web

It’s been a while since the last “The Fappening” leak, but a number of websites have recently posted batches of adult photos allegedly belonging to several WWE stars, including Maria Kanellis and Joseann 'JoJo' Offerman.

Since no official statements have been provided until now by the WWE divas, it’s not known just yet how the content ended up being posted online.

Photos that were published as part of the famous “The Fappening” saga were stolen from celebrities’ iPhones after hackers managed to break into their iCloud and Gmail accounts. Earlier this year, several other famous singers and Hollywood stars were targeted by similar disclosures, including Tiger Woods, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, and Victoria’s Secret Angel Stella Maxwell.

One of the websites that posted the photos of the female wrestlers said the leak is just the first in a series, with more similar adult-rated photos to be published in the near future. It’s not confirmed if the site is indeed in possession of more pictures or not.

Sia also targeted by hackers recently

Most of the celebrities that were targeted by such leaks threatened with legal action should the photos be posted online, but these claims were ignored by site administrators. At this point, neither Kanellis nor JoJo said anything about a potential lawsuit that could be started against sites posting the content.

More recently, Australian singer Sia herself was believed to have been targeted by hackers trying to steal her nude photos, but in this case, she adopted a completely different approach to deal with the potential leak. Sia announced on Twitter that someone was trying to sell her intimate photos, and instead of contacting law enforcement to go after the hackers, she posted the nude picture herself on Twitter, telling everyone not to pay a single cent to the attackers.

It's not known just yet if there’s a connection between the hackers that breached Sia’s accounts and the WWE stars leaks.
