However, if you're living in any European country, we have some bad news for you if you're anxious to buy this device: the LG V20 will not be available in Europe.
Last month after LG announced the V20 and said that, for the time being, there were no plans to introduce the phone in Europe, UK-retailer Clove issued a statement to inform potential customers that there might be a chance to stock the V20 even if LG doesn't bring it to Europe through official means.
Earlier today, Clove published an update on the previous announcement, which states that the V20 will not be launched in the UK or Europe at all.
According to the retailer, even though it planned to import the LG V20 from Europe like it did with the previous V10 model, the South Korean company has said that they have no plans to launch the phone anywhere in Europe.
Since LG won't release the V20 on the old continent at all, Clove can't import the smartphone. If you're wondering why the UK-based retailer won't import the V20 from other countries like the U.S. or South Korea, there's an explanation for that as well.
According to Clove, they “are not prepared to do so at this time,” especially since they are unable to offer customers who buy the V20 proper “after-sales service.” On top of that, there's the matter of “regular supply, maintaining quality control and ensuring network compatibility.”
LG's decision not to bring its flagship device to Europe is impossible to understand since Clove states that the V20 is easily one of the most requested devices ever.
Even after the UK retailer explained to LG that the V20 was in high demand, the South Korean company remained firm on its decision to not launch the smartphone in Europe at this time. So, there you have it folks.
