14 DAY TRIAL // Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda have just offered some more details about the next big expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, in the form of the Orsinium add-on. The free game update that will accompany the DLC in November has also received some details, not to mention a gameplay video presentation.
The Elder Scrolls Online didn't exactly have the best of launches last year, as its monthly subscription didn't sit well with fans and many soon ended up suspending their memberships after the initial month.
Earlier this year, Zenimax and Bethesda removed the mandatory subscription, allowing all owners of the game access into the new The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited experience.
Since then, lots of new things have been released for the pretty popular multiplayer game and the next major expansion is set to roll out next month.
Orsinium launches in November and has fresh details
Orsinium is the next big expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online. The add-on launches on PC and Mac on November 2, on the Xbox One on November 17, and on the PS4 on November 18. Those on the Public Test Server can already begin exploring the new zone and some of its content, according to the official website.
The DLC is available free of charge to those with an Elder Scrolls Online Plus subscription, while regular users can buy it for 3,000 crowns from the in-game store.
As you can tell by its name and observe from its presentation video below, the new add-on takes players to Orsinium, the capital of the Orc race, and promises to deliver 20 hours of story content and quests.
A free game update brings many other features to all players
Those who don't want to get the add-on will still receive a major free update for the game, which includes support for controllers on PC and Mac, subtitles, improvements to the "looking-for-group" functions, balance fixes, new ways to spend alliance points, and even better drop rates for items.
