The team at Ubisoft Massive in charge of The Division is already exploring new options for more end-game activities, given that a lot of players have already managed to experience all the story missions and have reached the level cap, even if just two weeks have passed since the title was first introduced.

The studio explains on the official site that it is planning to offer details about its new content in the coming days, via a live stream that does not yet have an official air date, and it's possible that gamers will receive the new activities before the end of this month.

Ubisoft has settled on performing weekly server maintenance for The Division every Tuesday, and the company might choose that moment to deliver an update that includes the promised new content.

It's unclear whether a new big patch is being prepared to address multiple issues or if the company is just planning to add some more missions and encounters to give the community something new to play.

In April, The Division is supposed to get access to the first free downloadable content pack, called Incursion, which is designed to add a new game mode, focused on Player versus Environment, which is targeting high-level players who want to face a new challenge and secure better rewards.

More Dark Zone tweaks are also possible

This week, Ubisoft lowered the penalties associated with going rogue in the Player versus Player area of the game and also made it more interesting for players to hunt those who attack their fellow humans while they try to extract loot.

Many fans of The Division have complained that the Dark Zone is too welcoming at the moment, and more tweaks to increase the feeling of danger and the potential quality of new items might arrive in the future.

In May, Ubisoft will deliver a second free DLC pack for its game, which contains a new incursion, and in June, the paid content will start arriving, with Underground set to add a new powerful enemy faction while opening up areas under New York for exploration.

Survival will debut in the fall, with these two packs offered with a 30-day exclusivity on the Xbox One, and in the winter, The Division fans will also get access to a final year-one DLC called The Last Stand.

Regular updates will also be used to make sure the balance of the game is good enough to keep players engaged.
