Telegram 4.7 is now rolling out to Android and iOS mobile platforms with a bunch of awesome new features for those who enjoy the secure messaging platform.

For Android users, Telegram 4.7 brings support for multiple accounts, which is one of the most requested features ever. At the moment, the application supports up to three accounts, each one for a different phone number you own, and it makes it very easy for users to switch between accounts and receive notifications from all of them.

"You can add up to three accounts with different phone numbers to your Telegram app, and then quickly switch between them from the side menu. Notifications will keep coming from all accounts, unless you change this in the Notification settings," reads the announcement.

For iOS users, Telegram 4.7 doesn't bring support for multiple accounts just yet, but at least you can now (finally) use a dark theme. There are two dark themes available in this release, called "Night" and "Night Blue," which come accompanied by a minimalistic "Day" theme that can be customized with an accent color.

Introducing quick replies

Another cool new feature introduced in Telegram 4.7 is support for quick replies, which has been implemented on both Android and iOS mobile platforms. To use quick replies, simply swipe left on any message in a chat to reply to it. Other than that, Telegram for iOS now supports different font sizes.

You can download Telegram 4.7 for Android from Google Play store and for iOS from the App Store right now on your mobile device. Meanwhile, you can check out the videos below to see the new features in action. Telegram team wishes all users a happy new year and promises to announce new product updates in January 2018.
