“Furious 7,” the latest installment in the “Fast & Furious” saga, may have defied the laws of physics and not sat well with certain film critics, but it was an undeniable, massive hit with audiences. Proof of that is the fact that it was named Choice Movie: Action / Adventure at the Teen Choice Awards 2015.

The ceremony took place last night in Los Angeles. The winners were voted by fans, so that means all are audience-approved, regardless of critical reception. Winning Choice Movie in the action and adventure genre is like the cherry on the cake for “Fury 7,” as it’s already turned into the biggest release in the franchise.

Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Ludacris were on hand to accept the award. You can see the acceptance speech, held by Vin Diesel, in full below.

The cast thanked the fans for keeping the franchise going and for ultimately bringing them together as a family, whose bonds are made stronger with each new installment.

Obviously, they also recalled Paul Walker, their late co-star, killed in a one-vehicle car crash in 2013, and dedicated the win to his daughter, Meadow, who was in the audience.

“One of the best blessings in our lives is the fact that we had the opportunity to call Pablo our brother. Paul Walker is here in spirit with us!” Vin said.

Paul also won Choice Movie Actor: Action / Adventure, as Ludacris announced as they were about to leave the stage.
