They made $146 million (€130.7 million) last year

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have barely been a couple for a hot minute, but Forbes magazine has already named them the world’s highest paid celebrity couple. In doing so, Taylor and Calvin come to replace industry’s biggest music couple, Beyonce and husband Jay Z.

First, the numbers: according to the publication, the pop star and the DJ made $146 million (€130.7 million) between them last year, which puts them well above Bey and Jay, with joint earnings of $110.5 million (€98.94 million).

The third, rather distant spot goes to country music’s number 1 couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, who brought in $57 million (€51 million).

Right now, Calvin is the highest grossing DJ in the world, while she’s been breaking records of all kinds with her latest album, “1989,” which she’s now supporting with a tour. She also has several, high paid endorsement deals, including with Diet Coke and Sony.

Now for the funny part: the first rumors that Calvin and Taylor were a couple emerged in March 2015, when they were first seen together in public, on a trip to Nashville. Presumably, at the time, the relationship was fresh, which means that they’re probably not even past the infamous 3-month threshold Taylor’s relationships fail to cross.

It sure seems that Forbes is trying to make them happen, especially since it’s including them on a list with joint earnings from a time when they weren’t together.
