Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, will be announced on March 29, while the pre-order period is said to start soon after next week. With just 6 days left until the unveiling, Target’s weekly circular newspaper ad has leaked.

The newspaper ad shows press shots of the Galaxy S8 and a number of freebies that customers would receive if they pre-order the phone. Target intends to release the ad for the period ranging from April 2 to April 8.

The press shot is almost the same as the render that surfaced earlier today, showing the small top and bottom bezels on the Galaxy S8, together with the fingerprint scanner on the back of what appears to be the Black Sky color option.

Free Gear VR and a $100 gift card

Target is offering a free Samsung Gear VR valued at $129.99 and a $100 gift card for every customer that pre-orders the Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, the phone has to be ordered through Verizon device payment, AT&T Next or Sprint's 24-month Installment plan.

In addition, customers who purchase the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge through the same installment plans would get a $150 gift card. The deals start on April 2, while the phones may get shipped on April 18 and hit stores on April 28. Target’s offer is for customers in the US, while those from Samsung’s home country will be able to test out the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in 4,000 retail locations across the country.

Sadly, the leaked ad doesn’t provide information about the Galaxy S8 and S8+’s price, which will be revealed on March 29. Rumors say that the Galaxy S8 will carry a price tag of about €799 ($862), while the Galaxy S8+ will cost about €899 ($970). The higher price compared to previous Samsung flagships could be justified by the inclusion of an iris scanner, the virtual assistant Bixby and other premium features.
