System76 just revealed the new Ubuntu 15.10-powered Wild Dog Pro desktop with the 6th Generation Intel Core 'Skylake' processor is available in their stores.

System76 is a company that sells full desktop PCs, laptops, and servers, but they are all powered by Ubuntu systems. The fact that they are using interesting designs for their products and that they are really friendly towards the Linux community has made them rather famous. They have become well known in the industry, and now they just released their first desktop powered by the latest 6th Generation Intel Core 'Skylake.'

This release is made even better by the fact that it ships with the latest Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf). It's a very powerful system that can be used for lots of hardware intensive tasks like video editing and creation, software engineering, CAD, and even gaming.

Wild Dog Pro comes with i5 or i7 processors

"The pure performance of this all-aluminum machine propels users to their full potential with processing authority, high-powered GPUs and extreme storage. By coupling high-performing graphics, up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, with the new 'Skylake' processor, users are able to completely arm themselves with the power needed to accomplish their tasks with brimming confidence."

To make things even more interesting, there is also Wild Dog Pro that comes with a water-cooled Intel Core i7-6700K processor, up to 64GB of 2,133 MHz DDR4 memory, 4 GB dedicated NVidia graphics, 18.5TB of storage, and the brand-new USB 3.1 Type-C connector. The operating system itself is actually installed on a fast SSD drive.

System76 has a powerful tool on their website so everyone can configure it, but the most expensive stuff you can buy along with a gorgeous 27-inch monitor will set you back for about $7,000 (€6,200), but that's in the extreme, and it's the kind of desktop that you would need a really good reason to buy.
