Compatibility with new events has been added too

Nintendo's Super Mario Run is going to make its debut on the Android platform in March, but by that time, iOS players will get to test a couple of new gameplay features the Japanese developer has decided to add into the mix.

The most recent update for Super Mario Run is also one of the most important that Nintendo released since the launch of the iOS game. It brings a completely new game mode aimed at newcomers to the franchise, but also at those who aren't that competitive when it comes to arcade games.

The new Easy Mode will provide Super Mario Run players with unlimited Bubbles. In addition, Nintendo made it so that while playing in Easy Mode, the time limit will be removed.

But these aren't the only changes the developers implemented in this update. Nintendo also mentions the update should provide compatibility with new events and the Korean language.

Some adjustments to some other game modes have also been made, such as the fact that players will now lose fewer Toads when losing in Toad Rally, the game's multiplayer mode. That way, it will be easier to gather Toads to participate in multiplayer races.

The changelog also mentions that a certain issue which did not allow players to get a Toad after receiving the My Nintendo reward Toad if the save data was deleted has been addressed. According to Nintendo, in order to fix this bug, the limit on the number of times Toad can be downloaded has been removed.

Last but not least, some other general issues have been fixed. Minor performance improvements have also been included, but no additional details have been provided.

Super Mario Run version 1.1.0 has already been released in the App Store, so if you already purchased the game, you can update to the latest iteration if you want to take advantage of the new gameplay features.
